WRC - Ireland, Norway and Portugal all in for 2007. Cyprus, Turkey and Australia missing from the WRC calendar. Can Chris Atkinson stay in the series without Subaru Australia support next year?
ARC - Rally of Canberra looking shaky for next year; ACT Tourism Minister
Andrew Barr doesn't think it attracts enough tourism to justify support. Meanwhile, Octagon is complaining the Safari Rally isn't garnering enough
local support.
Marcos Ambrose - Ambrose scores a 3rd place in Kansas, the best result for a rookie driver so far this year. Thanks to
TruckSeries.com for the audio grab.
V8 Supercars - Craig Lowndes and 888 Racing score their second round win of the year in Darwin. The Toll-HSV team put in another strong performance. And Jason Bright decides to leave FPR at the end of the season to drive for his own team, Britek.
Tunes on the show:
The Wireflys - Since You Noticed. From Newcastle (Australia), The Wireflys are Chris, Ben and Justin. They have an EP that's due for release soon, so check out their web site or
MySpace page for details of where you can get it, plus live gig dates.
Kate Akhurst - End of the Day. Kate is a singer and pianist, and is recording new songs later this year. But in the meantime, she is gigging around Sydney so check out her
MySpace page for dates.
Additional Moog - Holy Jukebox. This is the first US-released single for the Birmingham-based band. Thanks to
Lost Cat Records for making the track available.
Automatic Eye - Green Valley 99. For gig dates and more of Pete and Heikki's tunes, have a look at their
