Steve Hunter, of "Frontwing F1 Podcast"-fame, is back and podcasting.

As many of you will know, I think Steve is easily the best independent F1 podcast producer, and it's great to hear him talking about F1 once more. Steve has teamed up with The Podcast Network to produce regular F1 podcasts, so do yourself a favour and have a listen.

Music this week from:

Tiger Stripes - Emergency Lover. Kicking us off this week is the Adelaide-based band, Tiger Stripes. The boys are currently working on an EP for release later this year, but in the meantime you can hear more of their tracks up at MySpace.

Chamomile - Un Paso Mas. This Mexician five-piece Jazz/Funk outfit, Chamomile, have drawn influences from the soul offerings of James Brown and Marvin Gaye, and the electronic jazz of Jamiroquai.

The Grenadines - Story of Woe. The competition is over, and the winners are:
  • Jeff from Alabama
  • Chris from Ontario
  • Jayne from Michigan
  • Roger from Alaska
  • Kirk from Florida

They've all won a copy of The Grenadines fantastic debut CD, 'Story of Woe'.
If you missed out, you can still buy a copy of 'Story of Woe' from The Grenadines web site.

V8 Supercars - This week we're off to Adelaide for the opening round of the V8 Supercars. Plus we try to make sense of why TEGA is demanding the Holden Racing Team prove who actually owns it.

A1GP - The A1GPs were in Durban last weekend, and Nico Hulkenberg gave them all a lesson (again!).

ARC - TRD take the wraps off its brand-new Super 2000-spec Corollas, that Neal Bates and Simon Evans will field this year. To see the test car in action, have a look at YouTube.

Music this week from:

Cool Waters Band - They Can't Take It. After 13 years, six studio albums, three live albums, and many miles, The Cool Waters Band has finally decided to hang it up. This track is taken from their 2003 release One More One

Ophelia Hope - Whatever. Hot off the mastering press from the Norwegian trio. The band formed in 2003, the combined efforts of local girl Ingrid on vocals, and two foreign ring-ins, Italian Davide on bass, and Aussie Paul on guitars and keyboards.

Zeal - Yumi And The Sky. Zeal's sound is a mélange of musical styles, drawing inspiration from the strong song writing of Ben Folds, the conviction of Ani DiFranco and the musical exploration of Radiohead all glued together by a hip-hop production etiquette. Zeal was chosen as a featured artist in Triple J's '06 Unearthed competiton.

The Ides - The Governor Hindmarsh. The Ides are yet to accurately define their funky, acoustic, piano-driven sound; they vary between the jazzed-up, rockin'-out, laid-back and downright amusing.

Don't forget to enter 'The Grenadines CD Giveaway' contest. Thanks to the Melbourne-based rockers The Grenadines, you have the chance to win one of five copies of 'Story of Woe'.

Simply answer this question:
'When The Grenadines are relaxing, what do they like to wear?'

If you are one of the first five people to email me the correct answer (woof@thedogbox.info), I will happily post a freshly pressed copy of 'Story of Woe' to your doorstep. You'll find the answer on
The Grenadines web site. And the CD is now available for purchase by contacting them at their web site.

If you like the song, email the artist and let them know. Or, better still, buy a CD!
