Tunes by:
Echo Blue - Fish. A Lapslide guitar driven roots, reggae rock trio. Echo Blue's unique and eclectic sound blends rock, funk and reggae flavors with a hint of dub 'n bass. Check out their latest recordings at
Triple J Unearthed. (Sorry, I mixed up the bands name during the show. It is definately 'Echo Blue', not 'Blue Echo').
The Wellingtons - Tried and Lazy. We've had the Melbourne-based rockers, The Wellingtons, on the show before. I stumbled onto these guys at their
MySpace page, and they have a great collection of hooky tunes. The band is currently touring Japan, and gig dates are on MySpace.
Stereomovers - Waiting. All the way from Montreal. The Stereomovers is Alex and Simon, and over the past two years the boys have working on their debut ep, which is now available for download on
iTunes. Thanks to
PMN for providing the track.
Lara - Thusund Fjoll. I should have got this track on the show sooner, but I managed to lose the flash drive it was sitting on. Having stumbled upon the drive earlier this week, I can tell you Lara is an Icelander who now resides in Spain. Check out her web site to hear more of her tunes, and my apologies for mucking up the pronunciation of the track.
