Welcome back to TheDogBox for 2007!

WRC - This week, we preview the WRC season, which kicks off in Monte Carlo next weekend.

And we have a second listen to some of the best tracks from from Aussie musicians that we played in 2006.

8 Ball Aitken - Sagas and Dramas. 8 Ball's new CD, 'Odd Ball In', is out now - check his MySpace page for details and gig dates.

Chad Trent - Common Flaws. I played this tune back in February. Check out Chad's web site for more info.

Navid Sabet - Passive. Taken from Navid's debut EP, this 17-year old singer-songwriter has talent to burn. The EP is available directly from his web site.

Ben Taylor - Disease. A former member of 'Pilot Guides', Ben Taylor has been getting a great response both here in Australia and overseas, as well as being a finalist position in the prestigious 'John Lennon Song writing Award' in June of 2006.

Tim Reid - World That's Made For Two. From the album 'Any Given Day'. Check Tim's MySpace page for live dates and other tracks from the album. You can buy the CD from CD Baby or on iTunes

The Basics - Rattle My Chain. Their debut CD 'Stand Out/Fit In' is out, so check their web site for details. You can hear their tunes on their MySpace page.

Background music: Cargo Cult - 'Wed' (courtesy of Magnatune).

If you like the song, email the artist and let them know. Or, better still, buy a CD!
